Gamma Carry 12 is newly designed portable Thunderbolt 3 storage by Accusys that is portable, shockproof and ultra-quiet. Not only does it excel for post-production, it's also built specifically for DIT Digital Imaging Technicians and users who need portable storage.

Whisper-quiet below 40 dB, the Gamma Carry 12 can be used for colorists to be placed on the desktop. The new LED on/off switch can help colorists focus on their work without being distracted by the LED light on the front panel blinking. Gamma Carry 12 also uses a software-controlled smart fan to automatically adjust based on system temperature, providing both ventilation and energy-saving services. Control of the power supply is improved and can be easily removed and replaced. Additionally, the user can charge the laptop while editing with 60W power via the Thunderbolt3 cable.

Risk of damage to the discs and backplane due to shock or abrasion during transportation. It has a built-in handle design and allows people to carry a few tanks on top. Original Gamma Carry packaging materials are compatible with the Pelican case 1510 and are available without the need for additional special packaging. Gamma Carry provides 2 Thunderbolt 3 (Type-C) ports. One of the ports can connect to the host with 40Gb bandwidth and daisy chain up to 6 other Thunderbolt 3 devices. Gamma Carry 12 introduces 8 SAS/SATA enterprise-class HDDs and SSDs and is available with RAID Level 0, 1, 5, 6, 0+1 (RAID 10) and JBOD. Capacities up to 2,600 MB/s (SSD). With the optional portable tray, the user can use the docking function to instantaneously pop-up, plug-and-play into the SSD hard drive.

Available Parts Modules Be Your Own Technician

Don't worry! To avoid noise caused by dual power, Gamma Carry 12 comes with easy-to-replace modules. Just 2 simple replacements, you can replace the fan or power modules by device yourself.
*Please note that except the hard disk machine, programming module and fan module, there are other mechanical parts disassembled by users, which are NOT considered to be broken-free warranty.

60W Power Supply
The Gamma Carry 12 is equipped with a 400W power supply, providing a continuous 60W of power to the laptop via Thunderbolt copper cable while you edit.

Whisper-Quiet Operation
With fan saving the system, working sound is still less than 45dB; There is no noise interruption in the event. It is available for you to place on the desktop.

Gamma Carry uses the new Thunderbolt 3, which achieves storage speeds of up to 2600 MB/s, enough to handle and accelerate large file workflows. These speeds are based on high-performance SSD disks only.

SSD Reader
With optional SSD trays or Atomos trays (up to 2), Gamma Carry can expand into an 11-bay or 12-bay RAID system. The built-in reader allows you to quickly switch to RAID or vice versa from a standard SSD card or any card in the range of the Atomos line. They are also compatible with 2.5” hard disk.
